Hertzler

Turning Data Into Knowledge

For over 30 years, Hertzler has been helping manufacturers turn disparate data into actionable manufacturing intelligence. The company is a leader in Statistical Process Control, SPC software, and Six Sigma and serves a diverse customer base in service, transactional, and manufacturing environments.

The manufacturing landscape has evolved more slowly than many other business sectors, but it has begun to change nonetheless. Hertzler began examining their broader business strategies and acknowledged they needed to adapt. While LightBox was originally consulted to modernize their software UI, it became clear it was also an opportune time for a complete company rebrand.

    Goals

While the flexibility and functionality of their software product was second to none, Hertzler was well aware that the software and the company looked dated. Just as Hertzler aims to empower their clients with actionable intelligence, they too wanted to put their best foot forward and have a visual identity and design language that brought form and function in line.

    Early brandmark explorations

Updating branding is not something companies do on a regular basis, the LightBox team did a great job of leading us through the process. I appreciated the time the team took to solicit input from all of our employees as they go to know us better. The resulting branding visuals and guidelines are a part of the ongoing evolution of Hertzler Systems people and products.

    Outcomes

Having an effective brand increases an organization’s value, providing employees with direction and motivation, and serves as the primary representation and promise to our constituents. This rebrand maximizes the impact of the Hertzler brand in its most visible expression. Through its implementation, Hertzler can build a greater sense of trust, internally, along with current and prospective clients. This in turn helps to foster a strong bond with all of those served, building loyalty and attracting quality talent.
